GFN Steam Update: A Dozen Games Opt-in Last Week of July

New Steam Opt In Games

We ran our script against the data published at SteamDB to compile a list of 12 new games that have opted into GeForce NOW on Steam last week.

Opting into GFN on Steam indicates that game publishers are open to having their games added to the service. However, it does not guarantee that a game will definitely be added. Usually, top-tier games have been added in the past, but for lesser-known titles, it’s less predictable.

It’s important to note that the list of games we have found is not exhaustive. Many games opt-in only when they release on the service, so they may not appear in our script ahead of time.

Highlights

Atlas Fallen

Atlas Fallen is a highly anticipated title from Focus Entertainment that is expected to release on August 10. The game’s setting has a “Dune like” setting to it. The game is described as follows:

Rise from the dust and glide the sands of a timeless land, filled with ancient dangers, mysteries and fragments of the past. Hunt legendary monsters with powerful sand-infused weapons and abilities in spectacular, super-powered combat.

Wayfinder

Wayfinder is a gorgeous looking World of Warcraft type massively-multiplayer title that is scheduled to arrive on August 15th.

Become a Wayfinder, and unlock their powers as you choose your path and playstyle while pushing back a hostile force that has overtaken your world. Control the Chaos as you directly shape and customize the endless adventures you go on with friends, because Wayfinders are stronger together.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game brings the movie to “life” in video game and online PVP form. Will it give Dead By Daylight a run for its money? The game is set to release August 18th and is also scheduled to come to Xbox Game Pass.

Take on the role of one of the notorious Slaughter family, or their victims, in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, a third-person asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film. Experience the mad and macabre for yourself in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Sea of Stars

Sea of Stars is 2D retro-inspired turn-based RPG (think Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger) that is already set to land day 1 on both Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Premium. The art style looks stunning. The game releases August 29.

Sea of Stars is a turn-based RPG inspired by the classics. It tells the story of two Children of the Solstice who will combine the powers of the sun and moon to perform Eclipse Magic, the only force capable of fending off the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.

Trine 5

Trine 1-4 can all be played on GeForce NOW. The series is known for its entertaining characters, humor and co-op puzzling adventures. We’re expecting more of the same as the Trine company re-unites for the fifth installment in the series. The game is expected to arrive August 31.

The Trine series is back with its biggest adventure! In their fifth outing, the Heroes of Trine are pitted against dastardly and duplicitous villains, who will stop at nothing to seize control of the kingdom. The clock is ticking to save the world of Trine!
