GFN Steam Update: 9 Games Opt In to End January

The Big Con and Solium Infernum

Every week, we bring you the list of new games that have opted into NVIDIA GeForce NOW (GFN) on Steam. GeForce NOW is NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service that lets you stream games you already own on PC game stores (like Steam, Epic, Ubisoft and Xbox) to all your devices. This means you can play your PC games on your phone, handheld gaming device, tablet, Chromebook and more!

When a game “opts-in” for GeForce NOW on Steam, it means that the publisher is allowing their game to be included in GFN’s library. However, keep in mind that not every game that opts-in will be accepted by NVIDIA and brought to the service. From experience, most popular titles that opt-in do end up arriving on GFN, but lesser known titles are also less likely to be brought on board.

Games Newly Opted into GeForce NOW on Steam

The two biggest games on the list are likely Solium Infernum – an upcoming strategy game straight from hell – and The Big Con, which is an Xbox Game Pass title. You can check out all the game details and trailers via the links above.

Make sure to also check out our complete list of games that have opted-into GeForce NOW on Steam but not yet arrived.

  1. Wow, this GFN Steam update is incredible! I’m so excited to see that 9 games have opted in before the end of January. This is a major win for gamers everywhere. Can’t wait to try them all out on GFN! 😄

  2. Hi. Love your site! Is there an easy way to see if a favorite game has opted into Geforce Now? I know you posted this: https://clouddosage.com/gamelists/games-opted-into-gfn/. Is there any other way? Or is using this page what you recommend. I imagine just scroll the pages. Is there a search function anywhere to see if a favorite game has opted into geforce now? Thanks again 🙂

  3. Thanks for the comment. We went ahead and updated our individual game pages so that they now say “GFN Store Support: Opted in on Steam (Not Yet Available)” if a game has opted in to GFN on Steam but not yet arrived. So, you can simply search for a game on the site search-bar or at https://clouddosage.com/games to bring up the game page and see. Thanks for the suggestion!

  4. Thanks! This is great. Two more things…

1- Do you have any tips or expertise on how we (gamers) can get games onto GeForce Now? I know we can encourage the publishers to Opt-In on Steam. And then we can make game suggestions in the GeForce app? Any other ideas or tips?

2- Do you happen to know why GeForce Now doesn’t add more games that have already opted in? Is it time, money, or server space? Over 1,900 games opted in to GeForce now, but haven’t been added to the service. You would think it is quite easy for them to do. But, then they only had a handful of games every week. And I just don’t know why…

  5. Hey @fejj122. Good questions!

    1. I think what you said is really the best way. You’re welcome to leave some comments here and we can pass them along to our contacts on GFN. But, ultimately, I’m not sure what else you can do to get publishers (e.g. 2K) to add their games other than make noise.

    2. We have found that they do add most of the popular games that opt-in. But, it does take some work to install and test the games on their servers and commit to updating the game etc. With a few notable exceptions, most of the 1900 that haven’t yet been added are pretty low profile games. But, if there is one you’d like, let NVIDIA know!
