GFN Steam Update June 18 – Which Games Have Just Opted In?

Steam Games Opted Into GFN

Every week we run a script against the list of games on SteamDB that have opted into GeForce NOW in order to identify new games that have joined the list. We typically find about 10-20 new titles each week. This week is no different – see the list of titles below. However, we want to start with some caveats and warnings about how this information should be interpreted.

As always, we want to remind you that “opting-in” to GeForce NOW on Steam is not a 100% guarantee that the game will arrive on the service. It means that the publisher is willing to have their game added. But, there is some additional work and testing involved in actually getting the game added.

We also want to stress that a game not being listed as opted-in doesn’t mean it is not coming! Plenty of top games only show up as opted-in right as they are added. For example, Age of Empires IV opted in only this week as it was added to the service – though we knew it was coming weeks ago.

Games Opted Into GeForce NOW on Steam this Week

Last week was a bit of a light week for games on steam after the flurry that surrounded Summer Game Fest. But, we do have at least 10 new additions.

Highlights

Cat Quest Purribean

Cat Quest is a game that is available to play in the cloud via Blacknut. In addition, that title has already opted-in for GeForce NOW. But, this week we saw the sequel Cat Quest II also opt in. And, perhaps most interestingly, the upcoming Cat Quest: Pirates of the Purribean has also opted in. We’re sure there are some cat lovers out there that are excited with the potential for these games. After all, cat focused games are all the rage these days.

Aimlabs is another interesting title to opt-in to GeForce NOW. It’s not really a game, but more of a gaming training program that helps enthusiasts become better gamers – particularly for FPS games.

The program analyzes your skills as a shooter and provides you with actionable feedback for improving your game.
