GFN Thursday
We kick off this week’s GFN Thursday with more power coming to even more games on GeForce NOW!
The GeForce NOW Ultimate tier is expanding, bringing the power of the RTX-5080 gaming rigs to even more games! Starting today, pretty much the entire GeForce NOW ready-to-play library will now benefit from the power of the RTX 5080.
To clarify, Ultimate members can now stream most of their GeForce NOW library on the RTX 5080. This is primarily thanks to further capacity optimisation of the RTX 5080 gaming rigs by NVIDIA.
There will be some exceptions. The install-to-play titles will still only be available on the RTX 4080 rigs, as will high-playtime titles. Should the RTX 5080 rigs also become full, sessions will connect to an RTX 4080 rig.

Changes To Install-To-Play
This week will also see some changes to the policy regarding the install-to-play titles on GeForce NOW.
Premium GeForce NOW members who reach their 100-hour playtime limit will still be able to access and play their install-to-play libray as part of their membership without having to purchase additional playtime or storage.
Now, in this scenario, the games will run on the same streaming experience as the free tier of GeForce NOW, but your games will still be accessible and playable.
Also in May, to celebrate 3 decades of Firaxis, a selection of the studio’s biggest franchises will be coming to GeForce NOW as install-to-play titles. These will include Civilization V and VI, Beyond Earth and Xcom 2.

Of course, it is not a GFN Thursday update without news of more games coming to GeForce NOW!
Before we get to this week’s new arrivals, we have confirmation that one of this year’s biggest games is, in fact, coming to GeForce NOW on day one.
Forza Horizon 6 will arrive on GeForce NOW on May 19th. It will be both the Steam and Xbox versions of the game, with the latter also being available on Game Pass.
This week, we have 6 new games coming to the GeForce NOW library, all brand-new releases!
- Global Rescue (New release on Steam, April 27)
- s&box (New release on Steam, April 28)
- Far Far West (New release on Steam, April 28)
- INDUSTRIA 2 (New release on Steam, April 29)
- Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era (New release on Steam and Xbox, available on Game Pass, April 30)
- Bus Bound (New release on Steam, April 30)
As it is the final GFN Thursday for April 2026, we also get a sneak peek at some of the titles we can expect to see on GeForce NOW in May 2026.
May is looking stacked for new games coming to GeForce NOW, with some big AAA titles coming to the service on day one!
