GFN Thursday – GeForce NOW News & Updates For December 4th 2025

GFN Thursday

GFN Thursday

We kick off this week’s GFN Thursday with some major cloud gaming news, but first, I think we need a little trip down memory lane.

Back in January 2022, Microsoft announced that it would acquire Activision-Blizzard in a huge deal that rocked the gaming industry.

Fast forward a little, and Microsoft were then locked in numerous battles with regulators around the globe in order to get the deal rubber-stamped and sealed.

Now, one regulator that held firm was the UK CMA, which initially rejected the acquisition due to concerns around cloud gaming. After some negotiations, Microsoft reached an agreement with Ubisoft to sell the cloud gaming rights for ABK titles to Ubisoft.

This meant that Ubisoft would have complete control of which companies would be allowed to host the cloud streaming of ABK titles. This move then led to the UK CMA approving the deal.

One thing that was confirmed at that time was that the ABK titles would be coming to Ubisoft+ Premium in a cloud gaming capacity; however, since then, news on this has gone very quiet. Until now.

It has now been confirmed that the first ABK titles coming to Ubisoft+ Premium, which will also be playable on GeForce NOW, are:

It has also been confirmed that more ABK titles will be coming to the Ubisoft+ Premium subscription and will also be playable on GeForce NOW.

All in all, fantastic news for cloud gamers.
