Xbox High On High On Life

The much anticipated game, High on Life, launched straight on to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate less than one week ago. Already, it Is sitting pretty at the top of the most played games list.

The comedic first-person shooter (Squanch Games) from the creator who bought us Rick and Morty, is enjoying a lot of success, despite receiving mixed reviews. It has gone straight to the top of the most popular streamed games list on Xbox’s cloud gaming service.

It is testament to the game’s popularity that it sits right about hits like Forza, Rainbow 6: Seige, and Sea of Thieves.

High On Life was rumored to have been developed originally as a Stadia Exclusive. Although nothing good ever comes from what could have been, it would have been interesting to see if the popularity of this title would have done anything to save the cloud gaming platform. We will never know, but at least players still get to enjoy the game via the cloud thanks to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

With players completing the game so soon after the release, if you haven’t tried Xbox Game Pass Ultimate yet, it may be worth taking advantage of an offer to give the Xbox console exclusive a try for yourself. (It is also available on PC via Steam).
