IO Interactive has confirmed that HITMAN World of Assassination – Signature Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025. Unlike the cloud version previously available on Switch, this release runs natively on the new hardware.

The Signature Edition brings together content from HITMAN, HITMAN 2, and HITMAN 3, plus bonus missions, side modes, and expansions. It also includes new pre-order bonuses, from cosmetic packs to fan-favourite weapons—offering over 100 hours of stealth sandbox gameplay. Whether you’re new to the series or revisiting classic missions, this edition is shaping up to be the most complete version yet for handheld fans.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s packed into the Signature Edition and how it takes advantage of the Switch 2’s capabilities.

Everything Included in the Signature Edition

The Signature Edition bundles together content from the full World of Assassination trilogy, including missions from HITMAN 1, HITMAN 2, and HITMAN 3. You’ll get access to the entire main campaign, along with replayable modes like Contracts, Escalations, and Elusive Target Arcades. It also includes the Freelancer mode for roguelike-style contracts.

What sets this edition apart is the inclusion of all major expansion packs: the HITMAN 2 Expansion Pack, HITMAN 3 Deluxe Pack, and the Seven Deadly Sins collection. That adds up to more than 100 hours of stealth sandbox gameplay across dozens of locations worldwide.

From Paris fashion shows to Colombian mansions and Dubai skyscrapers, the game spans some of the most detailed open-ended levels in the series. Whether you prefer disguises, gadgets, or creative accidents, the Signature Edition keeps the options open.

Native Switch 2 Release and Pre-Order Bonuses

HITMAN World of Assassination – Signature Edition launches June 5 on Nintendo Switch 2, marking the first time the full game will run natively on a Nintendo system. Unlike the cloud version of HITMAN 3 on the original Switch, this edition runs entirely offline, making it possible to play on the go without an internet connection.

The Signature Edition includes over 100 hours of content across HITMAN 1, 2, and 3, with all campaign missions, Escalation contracts, Elusive Target Arcades, and side modes like Freelancer. It also comes bundled with the HITMAN 2 Expansion Pack, the HITMAN 3 Deluxe Pack, and the Seven Deadly Sins content.

Digital pre-orders come with the Signature Pack, featuring two extra outfits and themed items. Physical pre-orders also include the Quack Pack, which adds a green suit and a matching rubber duck.

The Signature Pack and Quack Pack appear to take some playful cues from Mario and Luigi. The red-and-white mushroom in the Signature Pack and the green outfit in the Quack Pack feel like subtle tributes to Nintendo’s most iconic duo—perfect timing for the game’s Switch 2 debut.
