JioGames Cloud has added four more games from the Blacknut catalog. The new arrivals are King Oddball, PRO FISHING SIMULATOR, The Cub, and Lumberjack’s Dynasty. All four are now available to stream without downloads or installs on mobile, PC, and Smart TV.
It’s another pretty varied group this week. You can make your way through a post-apocalyptic world in The Cub, launch boulders with a giant tongue in King Oddball, head out fishing in PRO FISHING SIMULATOR, or build up a logging business in Lumberjack’s Dynasty. There isn’t much overlap between the four, which gives you some genuinely different options depending on what you feel like playing.
Here’s a closer look at the four games in this week’s JioGames Cloud update.
The Cub
The Cub is a story-driven platformer from Demagog Studio set in a world where much of humanity has disappeared. You play as a child who survived the catastrophe and is hunted after a research team returns from Mars. Running, jumping, and climbing carry you through ruined city streets and overgrown environments as you make your way through what’s left of civilization. The ruined environments and constant movement are a big part of what gives The Cub its identity.
King Oddball
King Oddball from 10tons is a physics-based puzzle game with a wonderfully strange setup. The king swings boulders from his tongue, and you choose when to release them at tanks, helicopters, structures, and other targets. The challenge comes from judging each throw and making the most of the rocks you have available, with a well-placed shot capable of bouncing through several targets. It’s easy to understand quickly, but the physics can make every attempt play out a little differently.
PRO FISHING SIMULATOR
PRO FISHING SIMULATOR from Sanuk Games and Nacon focuses on sport fishing across a range of locations. You choose your equipment and techniques based on the kind of fish you’re trying to catch, with different spots requiring different approaches. The emphasis is on matching your setup to the conditions rather than simply casting a line and waiting. It’s a much slower-paced game, with the focus staying on choosing the right gear and approach for each fishing spot.
Lumberjack’s Dynasty
Lumberjack’s Dynasty from UMEO Studios and Toplitz Productions combines life simulation with running a lumber business. You take over a run-down logging operation, restore its buildings and equipment, and gradually expand the business over time. There’s more to it than cutting trees, with the larger game built around developing both the operation and your character’s life around it.
