Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have officially shadow-dropped a current-gen upgrade for the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, bringing 60FPS performance and enhanced visuals to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This significant update arrives as the studio celebrates a massive milestone for its sequel: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has officially surpassed 5 million copies sold within its first year.

For cloud gaming and handheld players, the most exciting news is that the enhanced version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available to all Xbox Game Pass subscribers. This means players can now stream Henry’s journey through Bohemia via Xbox Cloud with the benefit of the new performance improvements, making the medieval combat and exploration smoother than ever.

Improving the World of Kingdom Come: Deliverance

The update, developed in collaboration with Saber Interactive, is free for all existing owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. The primary draw is the jump to 60FPS, a feature long-requested by the community to improve the responsiveness of the game’s unique, directional sword-fighting system. In addition to the frame rate boost, console players will notice increased graphical fidelity and shorter load times.

With the original game now boasting modern performance standards and a day-one presence on Game Pass, there has never been a better time to experience one of the most authentic medieval RPGs ever made, whether you are playing on a high-end console or streaming it to your favorite handheld.
