KOEI TECMO America and Gust have revealed new details about Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, introducing the game’s key regions, civilizations, and story setup. A new trailer highlights the continent of Aladiss, where alchemist Yumia Liessfeldt joins a team of researchers to investigate the ruins of a lost empire.

The game launches on March 21, 2025, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. For the first time in the series, it will also release on Xbox—Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

A First Look at the Regions of Aladiss

KOEI TECMO has revealed that Yumia’s journey will take her across three major regions, each with distinct landscapes, civilizations, and remnants of the fallen Aladissian Empire.

The first area, Ligneus, serves as the starting point. It features vast plains and forests, as well as abandoned research facilities left behind by alchemists of the past. Key locations include the Arbor Botanical Garden and the 8th Laboratory, which may hold clues about the lost civilization.

Next is the Sivash region, home to strange, mushroom-like flora and two newly revealed civilizations. The Welleks, a demihuman people, and the Neru, a tribe of monsters capable of human speech, make this region unique. Players can explore the Preces Cathedral, a central place of worship, or the ruins of Hermea Academy, once a center of learning.

The final region, Auruma, is an abandoned industrial city now overtaken by nature. Among its ruins are a massive tree-like metal structure and a former commercial district with a long-defunct station. This region is also home to the Mana Transposing Furnace, once the center of mana research in Aladiss. The Geni tribe, a group of bird-like beings with feathers and beaks, resides here.

The Story Behind Yumia’s Mission

Another key detail from this announcement is more context on Yumia’s journey. She joins the Aladiss Research team, an organization led by Erhard under the Order of Eustella. Their mission is to uncover the secrets of Aladiss, a continent devastated by a past disaster.

Alongside a team of researchers, adventurers, and mercenaries, Yumia will travel through these regions, exploring ancient ruins and searching for answers about the fallen empire.

A New Alchemic Adventure Begins

The newly revealed regions add plenty of variety, from overgrown ruins to strange mushroom-filled lands, making the journey through Aladiss feel more distinct.
