LG Electronics has announced a new partnership with publisher Outright Games and Blacknut Cloud Gaming to bring NBA Bounce to LG Smart TVs and monitors. Starting today, users running webOS 6.0 or later can access this arcade-style basketball title directly through the LG Gaming Portal, further expanding LG’s console-free gaming ecosystem.
Big-Screen Arcade Action
NBA Bounce delivers a fast-paced 3-on-3 basketball experience designed for Blacknut’s family-friendly approach. Supporting up to four players in local co-op and competitive modes, the game features all 30 official NBA teams and their mascots. While the gameplay is accessible for all ages, “Party Mode” keeps veterans on their toes with game modifiers.
The game is playable with a standard gamepad or by transforming your smartphone into a controller via an app.
Exclusive DLC and Cross-Platform Perks
LG is sweetening the deal for those who purchase the game through the LG Gaming Portal or LG Apps. Buyers will receive the “Retro Party Pack” DLC for free, featuring vintage jerseys, classic logos, and retro-themed accessories.
Perhaps most importantly for the community, the purchase also includes a Steam key. This allows players to take their progress from the living room to their PC or handheld devices like the Steam Deck, ensuring the action doesn’t have to stop when they leave the TV.
LG Gaming Portal’s Rapid Growth
The addition of NBA Bounce comes as the LG Gaming Portal sees significant momentum. The service now boasts over 4,000 cloud games and nearly 900 web-based titles. According to LG, its active player base has more than doubled year-over-year.
The service is also expanding its reach this month to new markets, including Colombia and several European territories, while adding support for older TV models running webOS 5.0. With LG’s 2026 QNED evo lineup reaching sizes up to 115 inches, the push for high-quality, big-screen gaming without a console has never been stronger.
