Netflix Games has confirmed the brand new game Unhinged coming to Netflix Cloud Gaming on June 30th. So let’s talk about this new game and give you all the details.
So What Is Netflix’s Unhinged?
Netflix’s Unhinged is a brand new horror game for Netflix Cloud Gaming developed by the talented developers at Night School Studio, who created the Oxenfree and Afterparty Games. In this dark and creepy game, you play as Ava (voiced by Zoe Kravitz), who is trapped in her apartment building after a catergory five hurricane, with her only communication to the outside world being a phone call with her best friend Claire (voiced by Sadie Sink), who lives across the street. But Ava soon realises, after a wellness check on her neighbour, that she is not alone, and there is someone or something lurking in the abandoned apartment block.
Unhinged looks to be the sort of game that will get a lot of attention for Netflix Cloud Gaming. Netflix has a long history of creating horror movies, and Night School Studio is the perfect Netflix Game Studio to develop a horror game based on their past success developing games like Oxenfree. Unhinged also looks to be the sort of horror game which could do well for Netflix on content creation platforms like YouTube, Twitch and TikTok, which could lead to many more Netflix subscribers checking out cloud gaming for the first time with Unhinged on June 30th.
