Netflix Games, the gaming platform within Netflix, has today released a brand new game in the form of Game Dev Tycoon, so let’s get into it.
What’s Game Dev Tycoon About?:
In Game Dev Tycoon, you get to build your very own game studio from the ground up as you work to build out your team and develop and publish your games to become a part of video game history. This game also has the added appeal to Netflix subscribers of their exclusive ability to design games based on Netflix movies as well as live-streaming. This game was announced during Netflix’s last TUDUM event to be coming to the platform in 2024, and I am glad that this game has now been released on Netflix.
I’m hopeful that this game will inspire players to go into game development themselves someday in the future. This game has fun, colourful graphics, and I think it will be well-received by the Netflix Games audience, especially as this game is set in the 1980s.
