Netflix Games, the gaming platform owned and operated by Netflix and built into their subscription video service, has added a brand new Lego game to its growing game catalogue. The game in question is the newly released Lego Duplo World, so let’s go over this new game and discuss whether or not it’s worth playing on Netflix.

So, What is Lego Duplo World?
Lego Duplo World is the latest game based on the popular Lego toyline and is a game designed to be an “Edutainment” game, meaning this is a game that is designed to be played by children and teach them vital skills. The official Apple App Store description for this game reads:
“Welcome to Lego Duplo World Netflix, where learning and play go hand in hand so toddlers can create, imagine and explore. When young children have fun and play, it creates the perfect condition to learn and grow, This game offers preschool-age kids tons of fun ways to practice both IQ skills (cognitive and creative) and EQ skills (social and emotional) through activities and games.
This new game definitely fits Netflix’s new strategy of focusing on game-based on popular IPs, family games, and offering more variety in its gaming portfolio. With the kids of today growing up with iPads and iPhones in front of them from the moment they learn how to open their eyes it’s no surprise Netflix is looking into tapping into that audience, especially as Netflix has been trying to build brand loyalty across its brand the same way Disney was able to for generations.
