Netflix Games Studios Games Which Need to Come to Netflix Cloud Gaming

Netflix Games has been developing and publishing games since 2021, alongside acquiring multiple studios including Night School Studio and Spry Fox. Despite the number of games developed and published by Netflix and their internal game studios growing massively on mobile, currently, there are only three Netflix first-party games on Netflix’s Cloud Gaming offering. So, in this article, I’ll go over some Netflix first-party games that I want to see on Netflix Cloud Gaming in the future.

Money Heist Game

Money Heist Ultimate Choice:

The first game we are going to go over is one based on a long-running Netflix franchise, Money Heist Ultimate Choice. In this game based on the hit Netflix TV show and developed by Netflix-owned Boss Fight Entertainment, you must use your wit and make the right choices as you witness the story unfold. Be careful what choices you make, however, as each character has their own like-to-dislike bar based on your actions and your words. This is one of the most interesting and fun games developed by Boss Fight Entertainment and it’s definitely one that should be on Netflix’s Cloud Gaming service.

Cozy Grove Camp Spirit Game Banner

Cozy Grove Camp Spirit:

The next game on our list is quite a recent release, Cozy Grove Camp Spirit. In this game, you play as a spirit scout who, after a bus crash, is separated from their scout group. Use your skills to help ghostly Spirit Bears to find a way home. This game is developed by Spry Fox Games, who at the time of writing is the latest video game developer that Netflix has swallowed up. Cozy Grove Camp Spirit is the second game in Spry Fox’s Cozy Grove game series. It is also the indie developer’s first game on Netflix’s mobile game offerings and for that reason, I feel like adding this game to Netflix’s Cloud Gaming service would be a huge draw.

Oxenfree II Game Banner

Oxenfree II Lost Signals:

The next game on our list is an obvious one, Oxenfree II: Lost Signals. In this game, you play as Riley, a 30-something adult who returns home to Camena to investigate mysterious radio signals. This game makes so much sense to release on Netflix Cloud Gaming largely because the developer is Night School Studio, Netflix’s first game studio, and the original Oxenfree has been available as a cloud game for almost a year.

Stranger Things Puzzle Tales:

The final game on our list comes from Next Games, the second game studio to be acquired by Netflix, and it happens to be a game based on their biggest English-language TV show. In Stranger Things Puzzle Tales, you must match different colored gems to battle different monsters from throughout the Stranger Things universe. You collect different character cards and upgrade their abilities to make them stronger in battles. This game also receives regular updates, which could factor into why we haven’t seen this game on Netflix Cloud Gaming yet.

Final Takes:

There are a few things we have to factor in with this post. As of right now, Netflix still has Cloud Gaming in Beta, and it is only available in select European and North American countries. Currently, the only Netflix first-party games on Netflix Cloud Gaming are Oxenfree, MoleGem Mayhem, and Underwatermelon Fruit Merge, which are a small but interesting lineup. Hopefully, we will see Netflix expand the lineup of games on Netflix Cloud Gaming as the platform rolls out of Beta and into more countries. I also wanted to limit this article to one game per developer owned by Netflix, as two of Netflix’s studios have yet to produce a game, and developers like Spry Fox and Boss Fight Entertainment have released more games than sister developers Night School Studio and Next Games.
