Netgem reported an 8% increase in revenue for the first half of 2026 as PLEIO continued expanding through telecom operators in the UK and France. Revenue reached €16.7 million, compared with €15.4 million during the same period last year.
The company connected the increase to product and commercial investments made in 2025 across PLEIO and its ECLAIR content services business. During the first six months of 2026, PLEIO expanded through more UK operators and went live with Vialis in France. Netgem also reported continued international growth for its cloud gaming operations.
PLEIO Expands Through More Telecom Operators
PLEIO combines live television, on-demand video and cloud gaming in a platform for telecom operators. Those companies can tailor the content available to their customers and local markets.
During the first half of 2026, that expansion accelerated in the UK through additional alternative network operators. Netgem didn’t name those providers in its financial results, but the launches expanded PLEIO’s footprint in the country.
PLEIO also went live with Vialis in France. The French rollout now forms part of the first-half activity Netgem highlighted alongside continued international growth across its cloud gaming operations. However, the company didn’t provide regional figures or subscriber totals.
Netgem’s recurring revenue rose 4% to €12.6 million, while non-recurring revenue increased 24% to €4.1 million. The company tied the increase in non-recurring revenue to the return of operator deployments. Complete offerings combining technology and content, including PLEIO, also accounted for a larger share of its revenue mix.
Netgem said that shift helped explain why its gross margin fell from 71% to 66%. The company expects these offers to support revenue growth, customer retention and average revenue per subscriber over time.
The company’s broader earnings improved alongside revenue. EBITDA increased 10% to €2.8 million, while operating income doubled to €1 million. Netgem didn’t break out PLEIO’s individual revenue or earnings contribution, so the 8% increase applies to the company as a whole.
Netgem Plans More UK Deployments In 2026
Netgem expects PLEIO to continue growing during the second half of 2026, with more operator deployments planned for the UK. No operator names, launch dates or rollout schedules were included in the results.
The company plans to work with content partners on refreshed offerings tailored to different markets and uses. Netgem intends to use that work as it brings PLEIO’s mix of cloud gaming, television and on-demand video to more operators.
