New PlayStation Plus Games Announced

The Next PlayStation Plus Essential Games Confirmed

During their most recent PlayStation State of Play broadcast, PlayStation announced the next batch of games coming to PlayStation Plus Essential.

Three games in total will arrive on October 7th, headlined by the horror title ‘Alan Wake II’.

Alan Wake II

A string of ritualistic murders threatens Bright Falls, a small-town community surrounded by Pacific Northwest wilderness. Saga Anderson, an accomplished FBI agent with a reputation for solving impossible cases arrives to investigate the murders. Anderson’s case spirals into a nightmare when she discovers pages of a horror story that starts to come true around her.

Goat Simulator 3

Pilgor’s baaack! Gather your herd and venture forth into Goat Simulator 3; an all-new, totally realistic, multiplayer sandbox farmyard experience.

Cocoon

From Jeppe Carlsen, the lead gameplay designer of LIMBO and INSIDE — COCOON takes you on an adventure across worlds within worlds. Master world-leaping mechanics and solve intricate puzzles to unravel a cosmic mystery.

The Last of Us Day

As a bonus, and to celebrate The Last of Us Day, PlayStation also announced that The Last of Us Part II will also be coming to PlayStation Plus.

AirGPU Cloud Gaming Service Advertisement

This one will only be available on the Extra and Premium tiers; however, PS5 players will also be able to download the Remastered version of the game. It will arrive on PS Plus on September 26th 2025.

More Classics

Also announced was a new batch of classic titles coming to PlayStation Plus, which include:

  • Tekken 3
  • Saoulcalibur III
  • Tomb Raider Anniversary
