PlayStation Cloud Gaming December Arrivals and Departures

PS Plus December Cloud Games Lineup Collage

The holiday season is heating up on PlayStation Plus. The subscription service is adding 16 new games to its Extra and Premium tiers. And, the games are hot!

Now that PS5 game support is enabled, we expect all of these games to be streamable from the cloud. As long as you stream to an actual PS5 device… which is the current major limitation of PlayStation’s cloud gaming service.

Games Coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Dec. 19

Grand Theft Auto V is a big pickup. The game is also currently available on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming. No doubt, Rockstar would like as many people as possible to play GTA V before the 2025 release of GTA 6. So, it makes a lot of sense that the game is making the rounds in game subscriptions.

Stranger of Paradise is another great pickup for the subscription. The game is a modern souls-like remake of Final Fantasy 1. It’s a departure from the typical Final Fantasy formula and should provide fans of the series quite the challenge.

PS Plus subscribers are also set to pick up three Mega Man titles as well as three Shadowrun games. Two of those Mega Man titles recently departed from Amazon Luna, and we may now know why.

Games Leaving PS Plus on Dec. 19

We expect most of these games will also no longer be able to be streamed upon their departure. Get cracking if you are hoping to finish these.
