A New Hotfix For Rematch Has Been Released
A brand new hotfix update has taken the field for Rematch.
This update makes some minor bug fixes and also improves network performance. It is a very light update, with further fixes and improvements expected soon.
Xbox site, TrueAchievements, has reported that Rematch currently has some broken Achievements on the Xbox platform. I can say from experience that this is very much the case, as I have met the criteria for several of the Achievements and they have not ‘popped’. Fingers crossed, this will be one of the issues that will top priority for the developer to address.
You can see the patch notes for Hotfix #0.5 in full below:
Bugfixes
– Fixed an issue where the ball would hit the goalposts and become entirely out of sync for all players.
– Ball sync issues might still happen under other circumstances.
Network / Performances
– Pushed a fix to reduce the frequency of crashes occurring after scoring a goal on all platforms.
– Various fixes for stability issues.
– Various netcode improvements.
– Updates to matchmaking to further improve queue times.
Rematch is an online vs Football title in which you control a single player on your team. Players can take part in several different modes, from 3v3 up to 5v5. There is also a 5v5 ranked mode that can be played.
It recently launched on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is also available as part of Game Pass.
In terms of cloud gaming support, the game is available to play on PlayStation Cloud Gaming, Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce NOW and Boosteroid.
Over the last few days, I have personally put a lot of time into the game and can honestly say I have been having a blast.
