Sabotage Studio has announced a free update for its RPG, Sea of Stars, set to release on November 12th. Titled “Dawn of the Equinox”, the update introduces several highly requested features ahead of the game’s major DLC, Throes of the Watchmaker, which is slated for release in Spring 2025.
The most notable addition is local co-op, allowing up to three players to enjoy the entire storyline together, supported by a new Co-op Timed Hits system for team-based combat. The update will also introduce a revamped combat system called Combat 2.0. This change brings new mechanics to break enemy barriers and accumulate Combo Points.
Sea of Stars: Dawn of the Equinox Key Features
- Revamped Prologue: The updated introduction removes the flashback structure, adding action sequences and combat for the young versions of the main characters.
- New Cinematic: A new cutscene titled “Paths on Water” has been added to enhance a key moment in the game.
- Difficulty Presets: Three difficulty options will now be available, along with additional relics for quality of life and challenge adjustments.
