Xbox just announced the second wave of Xbox Game Pass games for September 2025, and it’s a stacked update. Big franchises, returning favourites, and day one releases are all streaming soon with Xbox Cloud Gaming.
The highlight is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which opens its Early Access Beta on October 2. Eligible Game Pass subscribers can stream the beta at launch, getting a first look at new maps and refined multiplayer design. Cloud support doesn’t stop there. Hades makes a comeback to Game Pass with full cloud play, and Visions of Mana launches September 25 with streaming on day one. Other cloud-ready arrivals include Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, Frostpunk 2, Wobbly Life, Sworn, and Peppa Pig: World Adventures, giving you plenty of variety this month.
This update also expands cloud access for several major console titles, now available to stream instead of download. And with a fresh batch of removals hitting on September 30, there’s a limited window to stream classics like Ninja Gaiden Sigma before they leave.
Here’s the full breakdown of Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 for September 2025, including every new addition to Xbox Cloud Gaming and the titles leaving the library soon.
