Stadia Can Account for 25% or Better in Indie Dev. Revenue

Stylized landscape with a blue tractor on a hill, and the text "HUNDRED DAYS" in bold letters in the center, hinting at an immersive cloud gaming experience.

Interestingly, Yves Hohler the 100 Days Wine Simulator developer has tweeted out the following:

It’s pretty clear from these tweets that Stadia was a major boon for this developer – in particular being involved in the Stadia Pro subscription was big advantage. Stadia amounted to 20%-25% of the total revenue for this particular game. It should be noted that this game released on Stadia on Stadia with fairly average fan-fare. However, the 25% revenue share is absolutely nothing to be sneezed at and could continue to grow as the game remains in Stadia Pro.

It’s great to see these comments. And, they come next to our own analysis that games like Merek’s Market are, indeed, seeing more play time on Stadia than even Steam!

Got an idie game coming out? Consider bringing it to Stadia!
