Still Wakes The Deep: Siren’s Rest Announced
Secret Mode and developers, The Chinese Room, have today revealed a new paid expansion for Still Wakes The Deep.
The expansion, titled Siren’s Rest, will launch on June 18th on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. It will be priced at 12.99/£9.99/€12.99. Pre-orders will go live for the expansion at 6 pm BST today.
This is not a standalone expansion; players will need a copy of the base game to play Siren’s Rest.
Set over a decade after the events of Still Wakes the Deep, players will sink below the waves of the North Sea to explore what’s left of the Beira D. Swim through the underwater wreckage armed with a cutting torch, crowbar, and camera, and try to piece together the final moments of the oil rig’s crew. But beware – there are things lurking in the depths that even the sea cannot claim.
Siren’s Rest features a new story written by Sagar Beroshi (Helldivers 2) and introduces a new voice cast. Lois Chimimba (Doctor Who, Shetland) stars as Mhairi alongside Lorn Macdonald (Bridgerton, The Lazarus Project) and David Menkin (Final Fantasy XVI, Alan Wake 2), and the cast are once more directed by Kate Saxon.
Still Wakes The Deep launched in June 2024. It is a first-person horror title that is set in 1975. Players must navigate the stricken North Sea oil rig, the ‘Beira D’, in order the save their crew from a terrifying horror.
The game is available to play on a range of cloud gaming services such as GeForce NOW, PlayStation Cloud Gaming, Xbox Cloud Gaming and Boosteroid.
