THQ Nordic held its 2026 Digital Showcase on August 7, with REANIMAL launching its first post-launch DLC chapter and Way of the Hunter 2 opening preorders. Way of the Hunter 2 is coming September 29, while Wreckfest 2, Titan Quest II, The Eternal Life of Goldman, and Gothic received new gameplay.
REANIMAL: The Prisoner DLC Is Available Now
REANIMAL expanded with The Prisoner, the first of three planned post-launch DLC chapters. The $9.99 USD DLC launched on August 7 and introduces The Soldier and The Prisoner as two new characters.
The DLC expands the REANIMAL world with new areas. THQ Nordic first outlined the three-part Expanded World campaign in February, when it said the DLC would tell a new story around new protagonists and the opening chapter was planned for summer 2026. The base game launched on February 13.
Way Of The Hunter 2 Is Coming September 29
Way of the Hunter 2 received new gameplay during the showcase. THQ Nordic also opened preorders for Way of the Hunter 2 and announced that it is coming September 29.
Steam Early Access began on March 26, 2026, ahead of the September 29 date announced during the showcase. Existing Way of the Hunter owners receive a 10% discount when they preorder the sequel.
Wreckfest 2, Titan Quest II And Goldman Get New Gameplay
Wreckfest 2 received new gameplay focused on racing and vehicle damage. The game has been in Steam Early Access since March 20, 2025, with Bugbear Entertainment continuing to update it.
THQ Nordic returned to Titan Quest II with another gameplay look. The action RPG entered Early Access on August 1, 2025 and received its Wild Lands update on June 18, 2026.
The Eternal Life of Goldman was shown in action again. The game still doesn’t have a confirmed release date, although THQ Nordic previously announced that it will launch day one with XBOX Game Pass.
THQ Nordic included new gameplay for Gothic 1 Classic and Gothic 1 Remake during the showcase.
THQ Nordic also offered a first look at an unannounced game from DigixArt. No name, platforms, or release timing were announced.
