The precise total play time for Stadia games isn’t publicly available from the Stadia team. But, stay tuned! Our data crunching elves are hard at work as we speak estimating these exact numbers. However, that is an article for a future date…
But, what we do have is various datasets that have aggregated the time-played per game from a list of Stadians who have their play time publicly available in their profile. The (unfortunately no longer updated) StadiaStats.gg dataset contains data from thousands of such users. But, the best site for this sort of data these days is StadiaHunters.com, which has a smaller but more up to date dataset.
At present, StadiaHunters has at least some playtime data (via public permissions or users of their extension) from 1,444 users. It is likely that the playtime data is not complete for each of these users, as some will have adjusted their Stadia privacy settings at some point after joining Stadia Hunters.
It’s interesting to note that this group has streamed over 950,000 hours on Stadia! Community member Colour is on top – having streamed nearly 6,000 hours of Red Dead Redemption 2 alone!
This brings us to our next point: this list is inherently biased towards games that have been on the platform longer. The reasoning here should be pretty obvious: the longer a game has been available, the more chance it has to get played…
Before we move onto the list, we want to note that your can check the automatically updated full list of playtimes by game for yourself any time at Stadia Hunters. We note that we have our own (non-auto-updating) smaller dataset of publicly accessible playtimes, that agrees fairly well with this list. Below, we simply present the current snapshot from the Stadia Hunters data of the Top 10 most played Stadia games.

There are a lot of interesting details about this list. It is no surprise that Destiny 2 is on top. Destiny has averaged over 5,000 players a day on Stadia since Stadia’s launch:
It’s also probably not a big surprise to see Cyberpunk 2077 at number 2 since many folks joined Stadia to play the game.
Two Stadia Pro titles made the list – Elder Scrolls Online and Crayta. Crayta’s creation mode in particular is known to consume a lot of hours for players who build levels.
