GeForce NOW is undoubtedly leading the way in the cloud gaming space. Especially in terms of the stream quality you can expect to experience while playing games on the service.
The GFN library currently sits at over 1600 titles, spread across various storefronts such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. With their 10-year with Microsoft also now in full swing and support for Game Pass and the Microsoft Game Store set to arrive on the service in the coming months, GeForce NOW is currently on solid footing.
With over 1600 titles to choose from, it certainly can be a little daunting on which game to choose to play on GeForce NOW, whether you are new to the service or you are looking at jumping into your next video game adventure, here are five games that I feel you should definitely check out on GeForce NOW.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
When you discuss epic RPG titles, it is pretty much guaranteed that The Witcher 3 will be part of the conversation. The game launched back in 2015 to critical acclaim and it has gone on to be continuously updated and improved over the years.
Players step into the role of monster hunter and Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, as they embark on an epic 100+ hour campaign across an open world that is primed for all sorts of adventures. If you then add the Blood & Wine and Hearts of Stone expansions into the mix then you are set for a fantastic RPG experience.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available to play on GeForce NOW via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.com.
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Have you ever dreamed about driving across Europe whilst also delivering important cargo to its destination well in Euro Truck Simulator 2, you can do just that!
You can create and run your own trucking company, buy trucks, and garages and even hire drivers to help operate your fleet. Or, if you do not want to go too in-depth, you simply work from job to job, Euro Truck Simulator can really be played however you wish.
One highlight of this game is that it is such a relaxing experience to play. I have spent many hours lost on the tarmac with Euro Truck Simulator 2. I also want to point out that this game has a real sense of community to it, I really enjoy jumping into the game and loading up one of the in-game radio stations as I haul my cargo from location to location. It really is a fantastic experience.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available to play on GeForce NOW via Steam.
Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy
When it launched in 2021, I think it would be safe to say that Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy was an instant sleeper hit. It was a game that a lot of people were a little unsure of when it was first shown off and not much of the gaming media expected a great deal from it, it proved them and a lot of other people very wrong.
Players take the role of Star-Lord and he leads the Guardians in an epic mission to save the Universe. Combat is very fast and fluid, as Star-Lord, not only will you need to focus on your own moves and abilities, but you will also need to command the Guardians to unleash their own unique moves in order to take enemies down.
The game also captures the signature humour that you would expect from the Guardians of The Galaxy as well as really nailing down the soundtrack which is fantastic. It is also a great game visually, easily one of the best-looking titles available to play on GeForce NOW.
Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy is available to play on GeForce NOW via Steam and the Epic Game Store.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection
When you talk about games that defined a genre, Command & Conquer certainly helped define the RTS genre.
The Remastered Collection includes both the original Command & Conquer and its sequel, Red Alert. Both games have been remastered from the ground up, it also features all three expansion packs.
In terms of content, the Collection is packed with it with over 100 campaign missions and over 250 multiplayer maps available to play. Welcome back, Commander.
Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is available to play on GeForce NOW via the Steam version of the game.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition
So, I had a real internal debate on whether to add this one to my list, why, well because I recently published an article about the top games to play on Xbox Cloud Gaming and the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is at the very top of my list. Given that this is easily one of the finest RPG experiences available to play on GeForce NOW.
The Legendary Edition features the original Mass Effect Trilogy, alongside 40+ pieces of extra continent including major expansions across all three games. The game also looks fantastic on GeForce NOW, especially on the Ultimate Tier on the RTX 4080 SuperPod’s. Epic story, epic gameplay, epic characters, and an overall epic experience.
I honestly don’t think there is a game that I can personally recommend to play on GeForce NOW more than Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It is available to play on GeForce NOW via Steam and the EA App.
