During Friday’s Geeked Week announcements, it was confirmed that two games from beloved indie game publisher Devolver Digital are coming to Netflix. What were those two games? let me explain.
Death’s Door Has Come Knocking For Netflix Games:
The first of the two games from Devolver Digital that are coming to Netflix is the indie game Death’s Door, which many people will say looks inspired by The Legend Of Zelda games. In Death’s Door, you must track down a soul that has been stolen, you must travel through a world where death has no power and creatures don’t die, they become greedy monsters. The inclusion of Death’s Door on Netflix is a nice surprise and with Death’s Door being a beloved little indie gem its Netflix addition is greatly anticipated.
Katana Zero Slashes On To Netflix:
The second game Devolver Digital and Netflix have announced for Netflix Games is Katana Zero, an action RPG platformer game. In Katana Zero you must slash, dash, and manipulate time to unravel your past in a beautifully brutal acrobatic display. The addition of Katana Zero is an interesting one especially as Netflix Games only just added Dead Cells in October meaning soon if you enjoy your hack-and-slash Metroidvania platforming games.
As always the more games added to Netflix is better for competition in the mobile gaming and cloud gaming markets, Devolver Digital has published several other high-profile games on Netflix including Poinpy, Terra Nil, and Reigns Three Kingdoms, so it’s nice to see such a partnership continue over time.
