It seems that recent rumours were true, Warhorse Studios has taken to their official social media channels to confirm that they are indeed working on a new RPG based in the Lord of the Rings universe.
Previous reports had indicated that the studio, famed for its previous titles Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, had been working on such a title, and it has now been confirmed.
Warhorse has also confirmed that, as well as a title based on Lord of The Rings, they are also working on a new game in the Kingdom Come franchise.
Warhorse Studios is, of course, owned by the Embracer Group, which has announced plans to split its gaming portfolio into two separate public companies.
The new company will focus on some of its biggest gaming IPs, which include The Rings, Tomb Raider, Darksiders, Dead Island and Kingdom Come, to name a few.
