Wavetale is Free to Play on Stadia this Weekend

Wavetale

Wavetale, from Thunderful Studios, is a first on Stadia 3D platforming game to which we gave a glowing review recently. Good news to all of you who haven’t claimed it on Stadia Pro (or maybe aren’t even a regular Stadia user), you can play Wavetale this weekend for free on Stadia (no subscription required)!

From July 28 through August 1, Wavetale is free as part of Stadia’s regularly recurring Free Play Days program. The game is short enough that you could quite easily finish it in those 5 days. Stadia describes the adventure awaiting you this weekend as follows:

In this exclusive story-driven action-adventure game, you’re invited to help unravel the past, save the islanders from mysterious sea monsters, and discover secrets hidden under the surface.

Our own recent review, gave the game 4 out of 5 stars – with the art style and world absolutely dazzling our team. The water (graphics, animation and interaction) in the game is especially impressive.

Are you going to play through Wavetale for free this weekend on Stadia? Let us know in the comments below.
