World War Z Stadia Cross-Play Support Officially Coming

Good news Zombie fighters! World War Z Stadia Cross-Play support is officially on the way! The World War Z team announced that Cross-Play is coming to Stadia along with an upcoming “Cut & Mend” update to the game which recently hit PCs. The team said they’ll have more news on the timing of this “as soon as they can.”

Beyond the addition of cross-play, the “Cut & Mend” updated should bring the following enhancements as listed by the team back in May:

NEW CONTENT

  • Added new melee weapon Sword, rewarded after collecting all documents for any level
  • Added new unique Advanced Combat Weapon variant, rewarded after collecting all documents for any episode
  • Added new trinkets
  • Added new healing item Bandage Kit
  • Placeable object that can be used by teammates to restore health
  • Added new healing item Adrenaline
  • Can be used to pick yourself up when incapacitated and gain unlimited stamina for a short time

QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Added Classes Perk Loadouts
  • Horde Mode rewards are now given out for each wave, and won’t be lost if a player disconnects
  • Improved Vanguard shield responsiveness
  • Added 1st person mode toggle button

Along with all these updates, we are certainly happy to hear that World War Z Stadia cross-play is on the way. This was something a lot of community members have been asking for.
