Wuthering Waves Version 3.6: New Resonators, DLSS 4.5 Upgrade, and Major Performance Overhaul

Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 adds new Resonators Qingxiao and Jingran, new story acts, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 support, and major performance updates.

Kuro Games has officially revealed the first details for Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, titled “Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart.” The upcoming major update for the cross-platform action RPG is set to expand the main storyline, introduce two new Resonators, and bring significant performance upgrades designed to enhance the experience across PC, mobile, consoles, and cloud services.

New Story Chapters and Resonators

The journey across Solaris-3 continues as Version 3.6 advances the narrative with Chapter IV Act III: Song of the Heart Sword and Chapter IV Segue: The Nethermancer’s Requiem.

Alongside the story expansion, players can pull for two brand-new Resonators in the Featured Convenes:

  • Qingxiao (Featured in Phase I alongside her signature weapon, Glint of Clouds)
  • Jingran (Featured in Phase II alongside his signature weapon, Thousandfold Deliverance)

Expanded Combat, Echoes, and In-Game Events

Combat builds receive new options with the introduction of a new Echo, Calamity Effigy, alongside a new Phantom Echo and Tactical Hologram variant (Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis).

Version 3.6 also introduces some new limited-time activities:

  • Resonance Sim Realm (Combat Event)
  • If Dreams Still Reverberate (Featured Co-Op Combat Event)
  • Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda (Exploration Event)
  • Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception (Leisure Event)
  • Gifts of Drifting Mist (7-Day Login Rewards)

Performance Improvements

For players streaming or playing on handheld devices, Version 3.6 delivers some of the most complete system updates to date. On PC, Kuro Games is upgrading the title to NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation, boosting framerates while minimizing visual artifacts and ghosting. A welcome addition for high refresh-rate displays and cloud streaming services.

Furthermore, Kuro Games is restructuring core development structures across platforms by transitioning to an optimized programming language architecture. This change aims to deliver smoother performance, better memory management, and increased stability across all supported devices.
