Kuro Games has revealed Wuthering Waves‘ Version 3.7, titled Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination. The update launches on September 30 and brings new story content, two playable Resonators, a new area to explore, and several system and performance improvements, including changes aimed at players on mobile and handheld devices.
The story continues with Chapter IV Act IV: Simulacrum of the Heart, alongside the new Tales Quest Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing. Version 3.7 also opens the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou area and adds Blooms for the Shadow, a permanent event. The update’s Featured Resonator Convenes will introduce Hsin and Suoming, along with their signature weapons, Blooming Jadehaven and Unspoken Rue.
The update also adds five new Echoes, including Formrender and Jade Nether Serpent, as well as three new Sonata Effects. Echo management is getting an overhaul too, with non-upgraded and unequipped Echoes that share the same type and stats automatically stacking in the Echo Backpack, with each stack holding up to 999 Echoes.
More Control Over Storage and Performance
One of the more notable changes for mobile and handheld players is a limited test of Tiered Client Resource Downloads across PC, iOS, and Android. Players will be able to choose between UHD, HD, and SD resource packages, allowing them to trade visual quality for lower storage requirements depending on their device.
Version 3.7 also adds Main Quest Replay through the Journey Log and expands the Camera System with new Handheld and Selfie modes. Team management is getting an update as well, with support for up to 20 customizable team setups and an optional 3D display mode.

Kuro Games also announced the Solaris Starry Stage fan creation program and teased new chibi figures in collaboration with RIBOSE. The studio is also working on Wuwa Tappo, a desktop pet application based on Wuthering Waves.
