The early August Xbox Game Pass titles have been announced. And, all of them have been marked as coming to Xcloud. This is an improvement from past months where only a fraction of the games have been marked in the Game Pass graphic as coming to the cloud – even though nearly all games ended up arriving in the cloud regardless of the marking.
The first August game is already available! The extremely highly rated title A Short Hike has arrived on Xbox Cloud Gaming today. Just how highly rated? The title has over 10,000 reviews on Steam with a rare “Overwhelmingly Positive” label.
Next up is Broforce Forever coming on August 8th. This is a free update to the 2015 game Broforce that is arriving for the first time on Xbox.
Broforce is basting its biceps in baby oil one more time with new bros, new modes, new moves, and one final batch of bug fixes. The free Broforce Forever update arrives August 8 for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and for the first time ever, Xbox One via Game Pass.
Then, on August 9, LIMBO will arrive on Game Pass and in the cloud. This is a highly acclaimed (>80 metascore) black and white puzzle platformer. The game has been on PlayStation Plus and now makes it way over to the Xbox game subscription for even wider availability on devices via the cloud.
Next: one day later, Airborne Kingdom arrives. This game will let you create your own “airborne” metropolis with simulation and strategy gameplay.
Last but definitely not least, EVERSPACE 2, the extremely popular spaceship based shooter arrives on Xcloud August 15. This game is packed with looting, shooting and crafting with a rich story and other RPG elements.
