Ubisoft has announced the release of a new DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, titled “Mask of Darkness.” This narrative-driven expansion is now available globally across all platforms. It introduces players to a new interconnected world, featuring unique biomes and continuing the game’s metroidvania-inspired design.
In this new chapter, the story centers around Sargon, who is pursued by Radjen, the deadliest assassin of the Immortals. Their confrontation traps Sargon in Radjen’s mental palace, a dark, magical realm filled with surreal environments and supernatural creatures. Players must help Sargon navigate this treacherous dimension. Engaging in battles and overcoming nightmarish challenges as they uncover the secrets of the Mask of Darkness.
The expansion adds four new biomes, over ten new environmental obstacles, and includes six new enemy archetypes alongside three epic boss battles. Players will also have access to three new amulets, which grant additional combat abilities.
The Mask of Darkness DLC is available for purchase separately, or as part of the Complete Edition of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which includes the base game and additional in-game content. Players who already own the game can upgrade to the Complete Edition. Ubisoft+ subscribers will automatically receive the Complete Edition.
