Latin America Cloud Gaming Forecast to Reach US$3.46 Billion by 2033

Latin America globe with text showing a US$3.46 billion cloud gaming market forecast by 2033.

In the comments on our Africa cloud gaming forecast, one of our readers, Fernando, asked what the outlook looks like for Latin America. That turns out to be a useful question because the available forecasts don’t agree on how fast the region will grow.

Grand View Research forecasts the Latin America cloud gaming market at an estimated US$290.7 million in 2026. It expects the market to reach US$3.46 billion by 2033, which works out to a 42.4% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from 2026 through 2033.

But that isn’t the only forecast out there. 6Wresearch is much more conservative, projecting an 11.5% CAGR from 2025 through 2031. Both firms expect growth, but they disagree considerably on how quickly it will happen.

Latin America Cloud Gaming Is Forecast to Grow 42.4% Annually

Grand View estimates Latin America generated US$198.5 million in cloud gaming revenue in 2025. It puts the market at US$290.7 million in 2026 before climbing to US$3.46 billion by 2033. The regional forecast was last updated June 23, 2026.

Its worldwide forecast is in roughly the same range. Grand View projects the global cloud gaming market to grow at a 43.7% CAGR from 2026 through 2033 and reach US$62.9 billion.

So within Grand View’s model, Latin America is expected to grow at almost the same annual rate as the worldwide market.

Latin America Cloud Gaming Forecasts Are Far Apart

The two regional forecasts are far apart. Grand View projects 42.4% annual growth, while 6Wresearch puts it at 11.5% from 2025 through 2031. The 6Wresearch report was published in July 2023 and updated in December 2024.

Those percentages aren’t directly comparable. Grand View covers 2026 through 2033, while 6Wresearch covers 2025 through 2031. Each firm also uses its own research process and market model. Their public pages don’t provide enough detail to pin the difference on one specific factor.

The two firms do use some of the same categories. Both include video streaming and file streaming in their market breakdowns. Even with that overlap, the two growth forecasts remain far apart.

Brazil and Mexico Are Forecast to Pass US$1 Billion

Grand View estimates Brazil’s cloud gaming market at US$102.2 million in 2026. It forecasts US$1.24 billion by 2033, which works out to a 42.8% CAGR.

Mexico starts from a slightly smaller 2026 estimate of US$89.1 million, but its growth forecast is higher. Grand View projects US$1.12 billion by 2033 and a 43.6% CAGR. It lists Mexico as the fastest-growing country market in Latin America over the 2026–2033 period.

Under Grand View’s forecast, both Brazil and Mexico would pass US$1 billion in annual cloud gaming revenue by 2033.

Remotely Rendered Cloud Gaming Accounts for 80.1% of Regional Revenue

Grand View says its “video streaming” category accounted for 80.1% of Latin American cloud gaming revenue in 2025. In its methodology, that means games are processed and rendered on remote servers before the video is sent to your device. That matches what we would normally describe as cloud gaming.

Grand View also tracks a separate category it calls “file streaming.” In that model, game assets and executable files are sent to your device, but the device handles the processing and rendering locally. File streaming represented the smaller share in 2025 but is forecast to grow faster over the period.

Grand View’s US$3.46 billion forecast therefore includes both categories. Its definition of the cloud gaming market is broader than one limited to games rendered remotely.

6Wresearch also includes video streaming and file streaming in its Latin America report. Its public material doesn’t give us enough detail to confirm that both firms calculate those categories in exactly the same way.

Fernando’s question doesn’t have one neat answer. Grand View’s latest outlook puts annual growth at 42.4% through 2033, while 6Wresearch forecasts 11.5% through 2031. Both expect the market to grow, but they disagree considerably on how quickly.
