Ubisoft+ Premium Now Available on Blacknut in Mexico

Ubisoft+ Premium is now officially live on Blacknut in Mexico. The cloud gaming platform confirmed the regional expansion today, which means you can access Ubisoft’s top-tier subscription directly through your existing Blacknut account. This rollout follows a period of steady growth for the service in Latin America.

The Full Ubisoft+ Library on Any Device

This move brings a library of over 100 titles to the region. It includes Day 1 releases like Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws, alongside established hits from the Far Cry and Rainbow Six franchises. Unlike standard subscriptions, the Premium tier provides access to premium editions, including DLC, expansions, and monthly rewards.

Because the service is built directly into the Blacknut app, you don’t need to worry about separate downloads or hardware requirements beyond a stable internet connection.

A Growing Market for Cloud Gaming in Mexico

The partnership between these two companies has been growing since August 2024. While Ubisoft+ Premium tier hit the service in other regions late last year, this Mexican rollout fills a major gap. It follows a similar expansion from ABYA in January.

The competition in Mexico is heating up as platforms recognize the high demand for accessible gaming options, much like the shifts we’ve seen with Amazon Luna recently. Mexico remains a key market for cloud technology because of its massive mobile gaming population and the increasing availability of high-speed fiber and 5G networks.

Breaking the Hardware Barrier

For many gamers in Mexico, the high cost of consoles and PC components is a significant barrier to entry. This Blacknut implementation offers a specific benefit: you can play these titles on Smart TVs and mobile devices without needing a console or high-end PC. It turns a standard television or phone into a high-powered gaming machine. I’ve noticed that this “hardware-agnostic” approach is exactly where the industry is heading. It treats the game as the destination rather than the box under your TV.
