Amazon has announced the titles that will be coming to their cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna, for the month of August 2023.
In total, there are three additions to the Luna+ channel, two of which are returning titles after being removed previously.
ENCODYA
ENCODYA takes place in Neo Berlin in 2062. Players will step into the role of Tina, a 9-year-old orphan who lives with SAM-53, her large and clumsy robot guardian. After discovering there her father left an important mission, to finish his plan to save the world, Tin and SAM-53 embark on an epic adventure across different realities.
Wonderboy: The Dragons Trap
One of the returning games to Luna+. Wonderboy: The Dragons Trap features hand-drawn animations as well a re-orchestrated soundtrack. After being cursed by the Meka-Dragon, players must embark on a quest to find the Salamander Cross, which is a magical item that has the ability to remove curses.
Star Wars Pinball
Get ready to hit that pinball table in a galaxy far, far away as Star Wars Pinball makes a return to Amazon Luna. With 19 Pinball Tables that are directly inspired by various locations across both the movie and TV franchises, there is certainly a lot of content for any Star Wars or Pinball fan to enjoy here.
Amazon has also announced four titles that will take the place on their list of monthly rotating games on Amazon Luna which are available for Prime Members.
Batora: Lost Haven
Batora: Lost Haven is an action-adventure title that also features RPG elements. The game has a unique duality system that affects combat, story, dialogues, in-game puzzles and even the games ending. Players will play as Avril who, after losing her family, will embark on an adventure across the universe in order to fulfil her destiny.
SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech
SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is a role-playing card game in which you must lead a party of heroes through a beautiful hand-drawn world. The game features intense battles which you can overcome using over 100 unique cards!
The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf
In The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf, players must embark on a mission to save the forest after an evil sorcerer has created a plant that not only attracts and captures Smurfs but is also toxic! The game spans five different worlds as players take the roles of Smurfette, Hefty Smurf, Brainy Smurf and Chef Smurf. Featuring vertical levels, the game blends a mix of platforming and exploration.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa sees the main character Adol awaken from a shipwreck on a mysterious and cursed island. Adol and other shipwrecked passengers that he encounters will need to face off against dangerous beasts and explore mystic ruins on an epic adventure to uncover the island’s hidden secrets.
