Tetris Effect is the best version of Tetris ever made and it is a game that every single human being should play. Freshly Frosted is the second best choice, being a path-finding puzzle game with some chill vibes while you make donuts. Thymesia is a cool indie take on Dark Souls. It’s nice having such a variety of titles as part of the free Luna package.
These games are not new to the service. Rather, Amazon appears to pull these titles out of the Luna+ channel, which seems to be a pattern to attract players to their premium paid subscription tier, much like Amazon Music and Kindle Unlimited. In December, these games will cycle back into the Luna+ library and be replaced by five more. In addition to the titles on the Prime channel, new games are also introduced in the Luna+ channel throughout the month.
We recently reviewed Luna and praised it for its overall quality, but were disappointed by its lack of purchasing options and availability outside of the U.S. Still, if you’re a Prime member and you live in the U.S., you should definitely jump in. Luna is arguably the easiest cloud service to jump in and start playing.
