Antstream Arcade, the retro gaming cloud gaming platform, has added four brand new video games to its already massive catalog. The list includes a notable game we already covered today. Let’s go over these four games and what platforms they’re from.

Mr Tuff (Unreleased SNES Version):

The first game we will go over is Mr Tuff. In this game, you play as a sentient robot in the “futuristic” year 2008 where all life on Earth is gone and military androids run the world. This game was supposed to be released in 1994 but was unceremoniously canceled at the time. However, Mr Tuff lives on and you can play this side-scrolling action platformer on Antstream right now! This addition is especially cool as this is what game preservation is about. Now, many gamers who would have wanted to play Mr Tuff but never got a chance can!

First Samurai (SNES + C64 Versions):

Now this one is me cheating by not writing the same paragraph twice because the next 2 titles are really two versions of the same video game. In First Samurai, you play as a samurai in this side-scrolling platformer, where you must slay the evil Demon King. Today Antstream Arcade added the C64 and SNES versions of this game from publisher and rights holder Piko Interactive. However, whilst the C64 version is very much playable, I do recommend playing the SNES version over the C64. If unsure, I urge you to try both versions and make your own decision.

Firelord (Amstrad CPC Version):

The evil queen has cursed the kingdom, and it’s up to Sir Galaheart to restore order to the land. Firelord is an adventure game developed for the Amstrad CPC in 1986, where you must play as Sir Galaheart to journey through the kingdom and defeat the evil queen to restore the balance of order in the kingdom. This is a game I’ve not played before; so, I’m glad to see Antstream is continuing to add a variety of obscure retro games to help make people aware that these games exist.
