Blacknut has launched on the Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer with Freely, adding more than 1,000 cloud games to the TiVo OS-powered device. The service arrives through Manhattan’s new V20 software update, which began rolling out September 1, 2026.
The update is rolling out automatically in stages to all Aero devices, so there’s no manual installation step. Once it arrives, Aero owners can access Blacknut without a console, discs, downloads or installations.
Blacknut Brings More Than 1,000 Games to Manhattan Aero
Blacknut brings more than 1,000 cloud games to the Manhattan Aero from over 150 publishers. Ubisoft, Disney, Square Enix and Konami are among the companies represented in the catalogue.
A Blacknut subscription costs £12.99 per month in the UK. Aero owners can play with a compatible Bluetooth controller. A phone can also work as a virtual gamepad through the Blacknut Companion App.
Eligible games can also be tried for up to 15 minutes without creating a Blacknut account. That lets Aero owners test the service before deciding whether to pay for the separate monthly subscription.
The Aero Launch Extends Blacknut’s TiVo OS Rollout
Blacknut announced its wider move onto TiVo OS on August 27. The wider expansion covers supported TiVo OS televisions from brands including Sharp, Metz and Thomson.
That makes the Aero a direct follow-up to the broader TiVo expansion we covered last month.
The Manhattan Aero is a 4K TV streamer sold in the UK for £89.99, powered by TiVo OS with Freely included. Blacknut adds cloud gaming as another use for the device, although the service requires a separate subscription.
Blacknut arrives with software version V20, or v20.1182.97. The update installs automatically and began rolling out September 1. Because the rollout is staged, it may not reach every Aero at the same time.
If you have an Aero, check Settings > System to see whether V20 has reached your device yet.
