Blacknut is taking its cloud gaming business to ChinaJoy 2026 in Shanghai. Nabil Laredj, Blacknut’s VP of Business Development and Licensing, will represent the company from July 31 to August 2 while meeting businesses involved in telecom services, publishing, platform distribution, connected devices, and gaming technology.
Those dates match ChinaJoy’s business-to-business programme at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The business halls run from July 31 to August 2, while the complete ChinaJoy event continues through August 3.
Blacknut Will Meet Publishers And Telecom Operators
Blacknut’s ChinaJoy plans centre on game distribution across phones, TVs, and other connected devices. Laredj will meet publishers as well as companies that operate platforms, networks, and hardware, matching Blacknut’s existing model of pairing game licensing with third-party distribution.
Publisher licensing and third-party distribution have shaped Blacknut’s expansion. The company works with more than 150 licensing partners, operates in over 65 countries, and reaches more than 100 million compatible TV devices through Smart TV platforms, telecom relationships, and connected-device access.
More games expand Blacknut’s catalogue, while operator and device agreements place the service on hardware and networks that already reach customers. ChinaJoy brings many of those businesses together, giving Laredj a place to discuss catalogue licensing and distribution through existing services and devices.
The company has used that model to extend its cloud gaming catalogue beyond direct subscriptions and into packages offered through telecom and media partners.
Laredj is inviting companies attending ChinaJoy to arrange meetings during his three days in Shanghai.
ChinaJoy Continues Blacknut’s APAC Partnership Work
Blacknut has previously used Asian gaming events to support its regional expansion. At Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025, the company demonstrated its SDK Gaming Hub while a cloud gaming service developed with Radian Arc and TrueID launched in Thailand.
Radian Arc supplied the edge infrastructure, while TrueID brought its 5G and media network. That arrangement matches the distribution relationships Blacknut plans to discuss in Shanghai, where an operator or platform can add cloud games to devices and services it already offers.
The ChinaJoy visit puts that same partner model in front of companies attending the Shanghai event. Laredj’s announced schedule ends on August 2, the final day of ChinaJoy’s business programme. The wider event remains open through August 3.
