Blacknut and STC KSA to Discuss Cloud Gaming at MEF Webinar

Blacknut is joining STC KSA and Mobile Arts for a Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF) webinar on November 19th. They’ll discuss how telecom companies can bring cloud gaming to more customers. The event, called No Console Required: How Telcos and Cloud Gaming Are Unlocking New Revenue, will use Saudi Arabia as a case study for offering games through mobile services.

For telecom companies, offering the service involves more than adding games to a subscription. The webinar will cover billing, marketing, and ways to reach customers who already use their mobile networks.

Saudi Arabia Takes Centre Stage

The panel will focus on the partnership between Blacknut, STC KSA, and Mobile Arts in Saudi Arabia. They’ll discuss 5G’s role in cloud gaming adoption, payment options, advertising technology, and ways to introduce the service to customers. They’ll also cover how the joint offering came together and what the companies say it has achieved. The agenda also covers where the cloud gaming market is heading and how operators can turn that interest into revenue.

We’ve seen a similar approach through Blacknut’s work with telecom operators elsewhere in the Middle East. In October 2025, we covered STC Kuwait’s launch of Blacknut cloud gaming in partnership with Mobile Arts. Mobile Arts’ MobiBox platform handles billing integration and marketing, letting subscribers pay for Blacknut through their regular mobile bill. That rollout was in Kuwait, while the webinar will discuss the Saudi Arabia partnership.

Blacknut also identified STC KSA as one of its telecom partners during its wider Middle East expansion in November 2025. This time, STC KSA can discuss that work directly with Blacknut and Mobile Arts.

Webinar Speakers and Registration Details

Blacknut has named Nabil Laredj, its VP of Business Development & Licensing, as its representative. He’ll join Tamim AlSaqer, Growth Gaming Services Manager at STC KSA, and Maria Aad, Client Account Management Team Lead at Mobile Arts. Diego Conforti, MEF’s Programme Director, will moderate the conversation. MEF is targeting telecom operators, gaming companies, payment providers, and digital-service businesses.

The webinar takes place on Thursday, November 19th, at 11:00 a.m. CET (10:00 a.m. GMT and 5:00 a.m. Eastern Time). It’s scheduled for 60 minutes, and registration is available through MEF’s event page and Zoom form.
