Boosteroid is moving its infrastructure strategy into a more specialized phase with a new deployment in the Czech Republic. The company recently confirmed it has added a significant batch of servers at České Radiokomunikace (CRA) facilities in Prague. While we have tracked how the company is scaling across Europe earlier this year. This specific partnership with CRA signals a deeper commitment to high-density GPU infrastructure in the region.

The choice of Prague as a primary hub is not just about expanding a coverage map. Boosteroid is framing this as a move into the “Heart of Europe.” The company is utilizing the dense fiber backbone of the Czech Republic. This central location serves as a crossroads for low-latency traffic. This deployment is built to handle more than just standard game streaming. It is specifically optimized for AI inference and real-time analytics. The hardware also supports high-performance GPU compute workloads.

Partnering with CRA for National Scale

CRA is not a typical data center provider. The company operates as a national communications pillar in the Czech Republic, managing infrastructure that requires enterprise-grade reliability. By anchoring its hardware in CRA’s facilities, Boosteroid is gaining access to redundant, high-availability environments built for always-on workloads.

This move also ties Boosteroid to one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the region: the Prague Gateway DC. Once complete, this will be the largest data center in the country. Boosteroid is establishing a presence with CRA now. This move positions its GPU-centric platform at the centre of the next wave of European digital infrastructure.

You might remember the ambition we saw with the reported 50MW data centre project in Poland, which highlighted the sheer scale of the company’s backend goals. That project focused on raw power and a massive footprint. In contrast, the Prague deployment with CRA focuses on strategic connectivity. This move also emphasizes national-level integration.

Infrastructure for the AI Era

The technical requirements for cloud gaming have always been the ultimate stress test for data centers. High-density GPUs, massive power draw, and the need for sub-10ms latency are exactly what AI and digital simulation tasks now demand. Boosteroid’s SVP of Infrastructure, Antonina Batova, noted that this deployment is a strategic decision to maintain performance consistency as the company scales its GPU platform for enterprise-grade reliability.

If you’ve been following our coverage, we’ve already looked at how these types of rollouts show the way cloud gaming infrastructure scales through repeatable architecture. The Prague rollout follows that same blueprint. By using proven, high-tier facilities, Boosteroid avoids the “one-off” build trap and instead creates a reliable network that behaves the same way across different borders.

As gamers, this means a more stable connection across Central and Eastern Europe. For the industry, it shows how cloud gaming providers are becoming key players in the race for powered, usable GPU capacity. As AI infrastructure continues to reshape global supply and demand for parts, securing space in high-quality, strategically located facilities like those operated by CRA is becoming a massive competitive advantage. It moves the conversation beyond just “playing games” and into the realm of who actually owns the most efficient compute power in the heart of the continent.
