Boosteroid has announced new cloud gaming prices that take effect September 15, including a higher €16.89 monthly Ultra plan, while confirming monthly playtime will remain unlimited. The annual Ultra plan will stay at €89.89.
CEO Ivan Shvaichenko also ruled out monthly gaming-hour caps and paid packages of extra hours. The announcement comes just days after XBOX confirmed Game Pass cloud gaming will move to monthly playtime limits beginning in November.
Boosteroid’s New Prices Start September 15
The biggest change is to Boosteroid’s monthly Ultra plan. It currently costs €12.89 and will rise by €4 to €16.89, an increase of about 31%.

The annual Ultra and Ultra Pro prices aren’t changing. Ultra will remain €89.89 for 12 months, which works out to an effective €7.49 per month, while 12 months of Ultra Pro stays at €134.89.
Existing subscribers won’t immediately be moved to the new prices either. You can keep your current price as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
Boosteroid also plans to bring back its four-month Ultra Pro offer occasionally, although it hasn’t announced what that will cost.
Monthly Playtime Will Remain Unlimited
What isn’t changing is how much time you can spend playing each month. Shvaichenko says Boosteroid won’t introduce monthly gaming-hour caps and won’t sell extra-hour packages once you reach a set allowance. That keeps Boosteroid on a different path from cloud gaming services that are starting to put monthly limits around access.
He says the price changes are instead tied to the growing cost of operating the service. GPU server prices have risen significantly over the past year, according to Shvaichenko, while data-centre hosting and other operating costs have also increased.
Boosteroid is continuing to deploy newer GPU servers, improve service quality, and work on reducing queues as its community grows. The company is addressing those costs through subscription pricing rather than limiting how many hours you can play each month.
All Boosteroid plans will continue to support streaming at up to 4K where supported.
Boosteroid Is Sticking With Its Earlier Unlimited Playtime Promise
This isn’t a new position for Boosteroid. We covered Shvaichenko making a similar commitment in 2024 after GeForce NOW announced a 100-hour monthly allowance for its Performance and Ultimate memberships. At the time, he said Boosteroid had no plans to introduce monthly playtime limits.
He is now repeating that promise as Boosteroid introduces higher prices. Shvaichenko says monthly gaming time won’t be limited as long as he remains CEO.
The timing makes that commitment especially notable. XBOX announced September 3 that Game Pass Ultimate will include 15 hours of cloud gaming each month beginning in November. Premium will include 10 hours and Essential will include five, with additional cloud time available to purchase.
Boosteroid is taking a different approach when its new prices arrive September 15. Some subscriptions will cost more, but the amount of time you can spend playing each month will remain unlimited.
