Claro Brasil and Digital Virgo brought Blacknut cloud gaming to HackTown 2026 in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Brazil. Visitors at Claro’s Casa Conectada could try the service during the event.

The appearance also gives us a useful look at how Blacknut is sold through Claro. Blacknut starts at R$5.99 per week for prepaid customers. Controle customers can subscribe for R$14.90 per month, and Blacknut Plus costs R$19.90 per month for postpaid customers.

Blacknut Pricing Starts at R$5.99 a Week

Claro’s standard Blacknut terms have been valid since August 1, 2025. They list weekly access at R$5.99 for prepaid customers and monthly access at R$14.90 for Controle customers.

Customers can subscribe by SMS or through Claro Store, with the charge handled through Claro. Digital Virgo do Brasil is named as the provider in the Claro terms.

Claro acts as the marketplace and billing channel for the subscription. That gives eligible mobile customers a way to pay for Blacknut through Claro.

Blacknut Plus is listed separately at R$19.90 per month for postpaid customers. Claro’s terms also give Blacknut Plus customers the right to redeem one Ubisoft game per month.

The three options split Blacknut access by Claro mobile plan rather than using one offer for every customer. The August 2025 start date also confirms that Blacknut was commercially available through Claro before the HackTown demonstration.

HackTown Demonstration Follows Blacknut’s LATAM Expansion

Blacknut and Digital Virgo announced their partnership in July 2025. Their initial commercial deployments were planned for Latin America and Africa.

The agreement uses Digital Virgo’s telecom integrations and direct carrier billing to distribute Blacknut through regional operators. By April 2026, we had already reported that Claro was among Blacknut’s telecom partners in Latin America.

HackTown gave visitors a chance to try that relationship in practice inside Claro’s Casa Conectada. Digital Virgo also used the event to discuss customer acquisition, access, and payment methods for digital services in Brazil.

The company pointed to PIX and Direct Carrier Billing as two payment options for digital services. Claro’s Blacknut terms specifically confirm billing through Claro, so we can’t tie PIX directly to this Blacknut offer.

For Claro customers, those options are already live. Claro’s current regulatory page lists both Blacknut and Blacknut Plus as active offers across prepaid, Controle, and postpaid mobile plans.
