Pearl Abyss have taken to their social media accounts to announce a small delay for the upcoming Crimson Desert DLC, Charting the Unknown
Thankfully, it is just a small delay, and it has been pushed back by a mere two-week timeframe to October 29th 2026.
The studio has said that they need a little more time to add some extra polish and deliver a more stable gameplay experience.
Charting the Unknown will see the player’s journey beyond the shores of Pywel. Taking command of their own ship, they will set sail to new islands where they will face new foes and many hidden mysteries.
Crimson Desert is readily available to play in the cloud on services such as GeForce NOW, Boosteroid, PlayStation Cloud Gaming and XBOX Cloud Gaming.
An enhanced version of the game was also recently released, which added new cutscenes and story moments to the game as well as support for all current updates.
