Gears of War: E-Day is now streaming on GeForce NOW, following its global release on Tuesday, October 6. It leads this week’s GFN Thursday, which adds 10 games to the service, seven of them new releases.
NVIDIA also says Fire TV users will soon be able to buy GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon. The company points to availability “in the coming weeks” and gives no exact date.
Gears of War: E-Day on GeForce NOW
E-Day is a prequel set 14 years before the original Gears of War. It follows Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they face the arrival of the Locust Horde on Emergence Day. The game is out on Steam and Xbox, as well as Game Pass.
On GeForce NOW, Ultimate members can play with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud, along with NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex.

NVIDIA lists these games as joining the GeForce NOW library this week.

- Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival (Steam, October 8)
- Forever Ago (Steam, October 8)

- Permafrost (Steam, October 9)

NVIDIA notes that games are onboarded after they release and added throughout the week, so availability can vary. STAR WARS: Galactic Racer is also available on Amazon Luna with Prime, as we covered earlier this week.
Fire TV memberships through Amazon
Fire TV users will be able to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon, which NVIDIA describes as a more seamless path from setup to gameplay. The release gives no price, regions or date beyond “the coming weeks”.
Dune: Awakening on Xbox still missing
The Xbox version of Dune: Awakening did not join GeForce NOW in September, as NVIDIA had previously said. The company asks players to follow GFN Thursday for updates and gives no new date.
