Big GeForce NOW News Coming Out Of CES 2026

NVIDIA has lifted the lid on some big GeForce NOW news as part of CES 2026.

First up is the news that a native GeForce NOW app is coming to Linux PC’s. This will be supported by Ubuntu 24.04 and later iterations.

The app will bring a native and seamless GeForce NOW experience to Linux desktops. It will allow users to stream supported titles at 5K 120FPS or at 1080p 360FPS.

This native app will have a beta release early this year.

Amazon Fire TV Devices Enter The Fray

More big news, and this is definitely a highly requested one: a native GeForce NOW app is coming to Amazon Fire TV devices.

The first devices to receive the app will be the Fire TV Stick 4K Plus (2nd gen) and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen).

Native GeForce NOW Support is expected to arrive on these devices early this year in countries that both support GeForce NOW and Amazon Fire TV Sticks.

Time To Take Flight

Another highly requested feature coming to GeForce NOW early this year will be support for flight controls.

Flight sticks from major brands such as Thrustmaster and Logitech will soon be supported. It will provide cloud gamers with a brand new level of immersion for games such as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Elite Dangerous and War Thunder!
