GeForce NOW Powered by Yes Gaming has increased its standard monthly subscription in Malaysia from RM50 to RM65. The change affects non-Yes customers, while Yes subscribers can still get the monthly plan for RM30.
The new RM65 price is now listed on Yes Gaming’s official GeForce NOW page. That works out to a RM15 increase for anyone subscribing without a Yes account, while the current Yes customer rate remains RM30.
Yes Customers Still Pay RM30 Per Month
Yes Gaming continues to offer separate pricing for Yes customers and everyone else. A standard user now pays RM65 for a month of GeForce NOW, compared with RM30 for a Yes customer.
The difference between those two monthly rates is now RM35. Before the increase, standard users paid RM50, making the Yes customer discount considerably more noticeable after the change.
Shorter access options are still listed as well. The three-day pass currently costs RM25 for standard users and RM20 for Yes customers. A one-day pass is RM12 for standard users and RM10 for Yes customers.
There’s no indication from the current pricing that those shorter passes were part of this monthly price increase. The main change is the standard monthly rate moving from RM50 to RM65.
For anyone already using Yes as their telecom provider, the RM30 monthly rate remains available. The increase therefore applies specifically to customers accessing GeForce NOW Powered by Yes Gaming without the Yes customer price.
The Increase Is Limited To GeForce NOW Powered By Yes Gaming
It’s important to keep this pricing change in its regional context. GeForce NOW Powered by Yes Gaming is the Malaysian version of the service offered through Yes, so the RM65 monthly rate shouldn’t be read as a global NVIDIA GeForce NOW price increase.
Yes Gaming uses separate rates for Yes customers and standard users. With the standard monthly rate now at RM65 and the Yes customer rate at RM30, the difference between the two has widened.
The service itself remains available through the same Yes Gaming GeForce NOW offering. What has changed is the price a non-Yes customer pays for a full month.
For those customers, the jump from RM50 to RM65 is a 30 percent increase. Yes subscribers, meanwhile, continue to have access to the RM30 monthly rate.
