GeForce RTX 5080 SuperPOD Rollout Begins
Welcome to a special Wednesday edition of GFN Thursday!
The time has arrived, the rollout of the new GeForce NOW Blackwell RTX 5080 SuperPODS’s has begun.
GeForce NOW Ultimate Members in the following cities and areas will be the first to go online:
- San Jose
- Los Angeles
- Chicago
- Newark
- Frankfurt – Germany
- Paris – France
This new upgrade will mark the biggest in the history of GeForce NOW. It will bring GeForce RTX 5080-class performance to the world of cloud gaming for the first time.
It will also double the GeForce NOW library in size, thanks to the new install to play feature. Each week, more titles taking advantage of this new feature will join the GeForce NOW library as part of the regular GFN Thursday updates.
As well as this, each week, more titles that will take full advantage of being RTX 5080 optimised will also be added to the GFN Library. Early titles include:
- Dune: Awakening
- Borderlands 4
- Hell Is Us
- Dying Light: The Beast
- Cronos: The New Dawn
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

This certainly marks the biggest leap in cloud gaming thus far. If you are already a GeForce NOW Ultimate member, you will get this new upgrade at no extra cost to your current subscription. For gamers not subscribed to Ultimate or those who have never tried GeForce NOW, this is the perfect time to get involved!
A Chaotic Offer
For gamers looking to join GeForce NOW or current members seeking to extend their membership, there is an offer that may be appealing.
Between now and September 5th, anyone who purchases or upgrades to a 12-month GeForce NOW Ultimate membership will receive a copy of Borderlands 4 for free!

This Week’s New Games
